Camp Dudley-Retreats

Located on 13 acres in the beautiful Wenatchee National Forest, YMCA Camp Dudley is a year round summer camp and retreat facility. Owned and operated by the Yakima Family YMCA, Camp Dudley is open all year serving youth during our summer camp sessions, and hosting retreats and events year round. From small family reunions to large church and business events, we have packages that are catered toward your organization's needs.Let our amazing setting and caring staff be the backdrop for your next retreat! We can help you set up a full slate of activities, or simply utilize our various facilities to accentuate your plans. We have housing for 140 guests, and have accommodated groups of over 200. Camp has four definite seasons, each with their own attractions. Fall is generally warm, and the flocks of geese mingled with the changing yellow tamarack trees make it a perfect time to visit. Winter is especially beautiful, with ample snowfall coating the forest trees. In addition to our own great sledding hill, Dudley is located just ten minutes from White Pass Ski area and numerous snow parks for all kinds of winter adventures. Springtime brings back the eagles and osprey to hunt gracefully over the lake while snow lingers in the high country. Summer is bustling with activity and you'll find otters, wild flowers, and amazing scenery everywhere.Camp Dudley can make your retreat easier by removing the stress of providing meals. Retreat Facilities


Camp Dudley has 10 cabins available to retreat groups, for a total of 94 beds.  Each cabin has electric light and heat. Cabins 2 - 9 each have 5 bunk beds, desk area, wall heater, and electricity. The four upper cabins, 6 - 9, were hand built in the late 60's by Otto Laggervall whose small company Yakima Mechanics went on to become the giant Yakima Car Rack Systems. The four lower cabins, 2 - 5 were also built around the same time. Cabin 10 provides beds for 6 and was newly remodeled in 2011. Cabin 11 sleeps a total of 8 in three different rooms. Please note, cabins do not have restroom facilities.Shower House:  The centrally located shower house serves the cabins with restroom and shower facilities.

Shinn Lodge:

Shinn is our two story lodge which sleeps a total of 42. A two story building, the main floor has a large great room with a fireplace, full service kitchen, handicapped accessible restroom with shower, and a single room with one bunk bed. The second floor has two large bunkrooms with 11 bunk beds each, and shower and restroom facilities located directly across the hall. This is a great rental for the winter months and our most popular option. It provides easy supervision of youth groups, and all the amenities. Behind the lodge is our fire pit with stadium seating. We'll provide the firewood if you bring the marshmallows!

Harvey Hunt Hall:

Our dining hall, named after long time Assistant Camp Director Harvey Hunt, is a beautiful building with hardwood floors and an elegant yet rustic feel. If you request food service with your retreat, this is where your meals will be served. This building also houses two additional meeting rooms. The first is set up as a family room with comfortable couches and chairs surrounding a fireplace. The opposite end of the building houses a classroom with loft area and additional family style seating.


The dining hall and Shinn Lodge have TV's with DVD players. Camp also has a video projector with screen and sound system with wireless microphone.  Wireless internet is available for group leaders in our lodge.
