Youth Programs

Youth Sports

Youth Basketball

Registration:  Early October-Early November

Practice: Early January - Early March

Games: YMCA basketball games are played on Saturday mornings and afternoons starting in the middle of January and ending the first week in March.  Games are played at West Valley School District gymnasiums along with the Yakima Family YMCA.

Divisions:

Youth Soccer 

Registration: May-June

Youth Soccer Practice: July - August

Youth Soccer Games:  Games are played at local Yakima School District fields.

Youth Flag Football

Registration: April - May

Practice: Late May-July

Games: June-July

Divisions: All divisions are co-ed.  Games are played at local Yakima School District fields.

Youth Baseball

Registration: May-June

Youth Basketball Camp

The YMCA is offering an end of the summer basketball camp! Participants will learn the fundamentals of basketball with instruction from experienced athletes. Each day will consist of basketball drills/games along with strength and conditioning coaching from a certified trainer.

 

Location: YMCA

Times: 1:30-4:30 pm

Cost: $65  Program Member

            $55  Facility Member    

(cost includes: t-shirt and basketball bag)

 

 

 

Volleyball Camp

Registration: Mid September-Early October

General Information: The YMCA Volleyball camp is a month long program that meets twice a week in the evenings at a local Yakima School District gymnasium.  This program is for kids ages 6-12.
